May 2020
As a communications intern at Crisp Solution, I was responsible for managing and creating stories for the magazine IBS Life. The purpose of this magazine is to inform readers on how to manage their irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). This story had a focus on informing people how there is a dating app for people who have digestion issues. I had to contact Phil Beesley from the United Kingdom who founded the first dating app for people with digestion issues. He talks about how he came up with the idea and why it is important.
March 2020
I decided to write a listicle on 10 ways students can survive and ace their final exams for the DePaul University Career Center Blog. The listicle was published the week during finals so students can know the best tips on how to study and ace their exams. Also, the story is written in chronological order since the story begins with how to study for finals and ends with the night before the exam and during the exam.
May 2019
This feature story was published in the DePaul student magazine 14 East. I decided to write a story on how the band Run Forrest Run formed and how their band changed over time. I used the Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival that they performed in May of 2019 as a way to highlight their work and music. I captured video footage of the crowd who danced and cheered in this street festival. I also captured photos of the band members performing which showed their passion they have with making music.
